THE malicious media outlet Khit Thit fabricated news stories, claiming that authorities summoned a family member to serve conscription on behalf of a 27-year-old man from Tayawgon Ward, Aunglan Township, Magway Region, who had died of colon cancer six months ago.

However, it has been confirmed that this report is entirely false and intentionally misleading, as no such person in Tayawgon Ward has died from colon cancer.

Similarly, the same media outlet falsely reported that Tatmadaw security forces arrested seven youths and their relatives in Oakpho, Bago Region, for refusing to serve in the military.

In reality, these malicious media are spreading propaganda to instigate fear and concern among the public about conscription.
