THE Ministry of Health has announced that essential medical supplies, liquid oxygen, and consumables required for the New Yangon General Hospital will be procured through a tender system.

In the financial year 2024- 2025, FDA-certified drugs and medical devices, laboratory and X-ray equipment, liquid oxygen, and consumables, including oxygen, necessary for patient care, will be purchased in Myanmar kyats.

These items will be procured from officially recognized licensed companies via an open tender system. Entrepreneurs interested in participating can obtain tender forms between 10 am and 4 pm from 8 May to 6 June.

For further details regarding the tender process, individuals can visit the medical superintendent’s office during office hours, according to the Ministry of Health.
