THAN Lwin Times, a malicious media outlet, spread misinformation that the military convoy forcibly took precious things from the houses in Nyaungzin Village of Thayetchaung Township of Taninthayi Region on 17 December.

The regional security official claimed that Tatmadaw did not march to Nyaungzin Village of Thayetchaung Township on 17 December, and the mine attack on Tatmadaw was also false information.

Malicious media outlets circulate false information on social media to cause disintegration between Tatmadaw and the people.
