A monsoon tree-planting ceremony 2022 was held at Office No 55, Central Bank of Myanmar in Nay Pyi Taw on 17 June.

First, Governor U Than Nyein of the Central Bank of Myanmar and Deputy Governor U Win Thaw planted the Mahogany and gold mohur saplings while the directors-general, officials and staff grew teak saplings, Mahogany saplings, gold mohur saplings and Bauhinia bride saplings in designated places.

Then, officials and members viewed the cultivation of saplings by staff members and left instructions for thriving trees and plants that were grown in the past monsoon seasons.

Precious teak saplings, Mahogany saplings, gold mohur saplings and Bauhinia bride saplings totalling 350 saplings were planted at the event.
