THE  written  examination  for  selection of 195 gazetted officer positions for 10 Ministries and Organizations, in the Notification  No  (3/2020)  of  the  Union  Civil Service Board, was held under the COVID-19 guidelines in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Man-dalay, Magway and Mawlamy-ine on 26 and 27 June.

Chairman  of  the  Union  Civil  Service  Board  (UCSB)  U Than Swe visited the examination  centre  in  Pubbathiri  Township,  Nay  Pyi  Taw,  inspected  the  examination  and  encouraged the candidates.

A  total  of  820  candidates  sat  for  the  written  exam  yesterday.  The  UCSB  has  been  selecting  the  required  qualified officers for each ministry/organization and the selection process  is  being  upgraded  to  select the right person in the right  place  based  on  merit  which is one of the priority areas for the Strategic Plan for Civil Service Reform.
