TATMADAW keeps providing healthcare services for the patients at the military hospitals and temporary treatment centres in the townships of regions and states. The Tatmadaw medical teams comprising Tatmadaw doctors, specialists, medical assistants and nurses have given medical treatments to the people to solve their difficulties in healthcare services. A total of 203,784 outpatients and 62,474 inpatients reached these hospitals from 5 February to date.Senior medical experts, medics, medical assistants and nurses have conducted 9,507 major operations and 4,835 minor operations. The senior doctors gave intensive treatment to the severe cases. These hospitals managed for the birth of 12,171 babies to date. Of those, 4,835 cases are done in the caesarean section and 7,264 cases in standard delivery. Moreover, Northern Command Commander Brig-Gen Myat Thet Oo and party comforted locals, military officers, other ranks and police members who took treatments at the local military hospital in Myitkyina of Kachin State. He provided foodstuffs to them. Similarly, Maj-Gen Aung Aung, Commander of South-West Command, and party comforted monks and locals who had treatments at the military hospital in Pathein Town, Ayeyawady Region. Southern Command Commander Brig-Gen Htein Win and party also comforted locals, military of ficers, other ranks and their families who took medical treatments at the military station hospital in Toungoo of Bago Region. In addition to providing medical care to patients in need of hospitalization, Tatmadaw is making arrangements for the well-being of hospitalized patients and caregivers.
