AN informal meeting between the Union Government and the signatories of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement was held virtually yesterday.

The meeting was participated by Peace Commission’s Secretary Lt-Gen Khin Zaw Oo (Rtd), Hluttaw MP U Pyone Cho (a) U Htay Win Aung, advisory board members U Hla Maung Shwe and U Moe Zaw Oo, the Ministry of the State Counsellor Office’s Director-General U Zaw Htay, NCA Signatory EAOs representatives Sao Sai Ngern (RCSS), U Myo Win (ABSDF), Dr Lian Hmung Sakhong (CNF), Pado Saw Tar Do Hmu (KNU), Saw Mra Raza Linn (ALP), Khun Myint Tun (PNLO), Saw Sein Win ( DKBA), Saw Kyaw Nyunt (KNU/KNLA-PC), Kya Solomon (LDU) and Nai Ong Ma Nge (NMSP).

The representatives of the Union Government and the signatories of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement discussed matters relating to the ongoing peace process and holding of the two sides’ bilateral dialogues.

Informal meetings between the Union Government and the signatories of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement will be held at least one time monthly, according to the meeting yesterday.
