U Zaw Zaw, Vice-President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and President of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) attended the online meeting of the 6th AFC Executive Committee on 25 November (yesterday).
The meeting was attended by the President of the Asian Football Confederation, Mr Shaikh Salman, Vice-President of the Asian Football Confederation and President of the Myanmar Football Federation U Zaw Zaw and Vice-Presidents; Members of the FIFA Council; Executive Committee members and Asian Football Confederation General Secretary Dato Windsor John.
U Zaw Zaw, who is also a chairman of the Social Welfare Committeeof the Asian Football Confederation, discussed the continuation of humanitarian work in the Asian region during the COVID-19 pandemic period.
U Zaw Zaw also stressed the procedures of the AFC Economic Agreement which should be amended next. ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) also held its 27th AFF Congress on 24 November, and U Zaw Zaw also attended the videoconference and discussed the upcoming international competitions of the Asian region to be held in 2021.
