UNION Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar Ms Ma Jia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

They held cordial discussions and exchanged views on promoting stability and peace along the Myanmar–China border, further consolidating the existing Pauk-Phaw relations and expanding cooperation between Myanmar and China, continuing the implementation of Myanmar–China bilateral projects, sustaining Myanmar’s efforts to achieve lasting peace and socioeconomic development for its people, promoting legitimate business activities and investments and jointly combatting online gambling and other illegal activities in the border areas. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual support in regional and multilateral levels.
