THE graduation ceremony of the fifth Election Reporting Course, organized by the Myanmar Press Council, was held on 3 December at the Shwe U Daung Hall of the News and Periodicals Enterprise (Head Office) on Theinphyu Road, Botahtaung Township, Yangon.

At the ceremony, Dr Tin Tun Oo, Chairman of the Myanmar Press Council, delivered the graduation speech, while U Khin Maung Kyaw Din, Second Vice-Chairman of the Council and Chair of the Media Development Committee, reviewed and discussed the teaching and training aspects of the course.

Following this, the Council Chairman and members, together with the Deputy Director-General of the Media Development Department and the Deputy Director from the Yangon Region Department of Information and Public Relations, presented graduation certificates to the trainees. On behalf of the trainees, one of the graduates expressed gratitude and appreciation.

The ceremony was attended by officials from departments under the Ministry of Information, members of the Myanmar Press Council, and invitees.
