Authorities in Yunnan province of China donated 1.5 million yuan yesterday for control measures against COVID-19 in Myanmar, especially in Kachin, Mandalay, Rakhine (Kyaukphyu), Yangon and Shan.

The donation ceremony was held at the Foreign Affairs Office of Yunnan People’s Government, and it was attended by its Director-General Mme Pu Hong.

U Htun Aung Kyaw, Myanmar Consul-General in Kunming, received the donation which will be handed over the National-Level Central Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19.
