The high-level Myanmar delegation led by State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is now in China, made study tours to factories and industries in Chongqing, China, yesterday.

Zhongyue Aviation UAV Firefighting-Drone Co Ltd

The Senior General and his entourage visited Zhongyue Aviation UAV Firefighting-Drone Co Ltd, and Company Founder and Chairman Mr Cao Bing and officials warmly welcomed them. They explained the history, progress, research and awards for social welfare activities and screened the video clip featuring rescue works using drones.

The Senior General observed the advanced drones created by the company, and officials clarified the processes of drones in rescue measures for high buildings and forest fires and conducted a demonstration of fire extinguishing with drones.

The Senior General appreciated the company in charge of the invention of drones and disaster relief operations using such advanced technologies and gave souvenirs.

Seres Automobile Company

The Senior General and his entourage proceeded to the Seres Automobile Company, and Company Chairman Mr Li Bo welcomed them.

He explained the history, vehicles produced by the company, data of vehicles and processes of car production in detail. He also presented a scale model of the car to the Senior General, and the Senior General gave back gifts.

Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park

On arrival at the Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park, officials warmly received the Senior General and his entourage. They explained the land and sea routes roadmap of China-Europe-Western country trade flows, the history of Chongqing, jetty, transport and scale models of cities along the Yangtze River. The Senior General raised queries that he wanted to know and signed the guest’s book.

Weima Agricultural Machinery Co Ltd

At noon, the Senior General visited Weima Agricultural Machinery Co Ltd, and Mr Yan Hua, the company president, welcomed him. The company president briefed him on the history of the company, the export of agricultural machinery, water pumps, generators, snow blowers and cleaning machines to neighbouring countries, Southeast Asian and European countries, and the display of machines and production processes of the company.

Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery

The Senior General and his entourage visited the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery, and were welcomed by the Chongqing deputy mayor and relevant officials.

Museum officials clarified the changes in Chongqing in different eras, the living standards and culture of locals, a smallscale model of the city and video clips depicting progress in various sectors.

The Senior General signed the guest’s book and warmly greeted the museum curator.

On the same evening, the Senior General and his entourage headed to Yuantongsi jetty in Chongqing and took a cruise along the Yangtze River. During the cruise, the Senior General met businesspeople from Chongqing and exchanged views on China-Myanmar economic cooperation and the potential to enhance investments.
