State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held a discussion with Thai Prime Minister Ms Paetongtarn Shinawatra, who attended the summits, including the Eighth Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit in Kunming, China, at Wyndham Grand in Kunming on 7 November.
They exchanged views on inseparable good neighbourhoods of Myanmar and Thailand, the effectiveness of any issue of a country over another country, peace and stability in border regions of both countries, the rule of law and development measures, eradication of transnational crime, narcotic drugs and online gambling, enhancement of border trade, investment and business, labour issues, promotion of cooperation between the ministries and departments of both countries, political progress of Myanmar, implementation of the adopted objectives, and preparations to hold a free and fair multiparty democratic general election successfully.
The Senior General and the Thai Prime Minister cordially greeted the meeting attendees.
