Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, who is also Chairman of the Working Committee on Organizing the Opening and Closing Events, presided over the fifth cordinating meeting of the committee in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

In his speech, he noted that the festival is to be held on a grand scale that is full of essence and aims to scale up national consolidation. The festival will show off the skills and talent of youths, and a national spirit will be vigilant. Moreover, arrangements will also be made for all the citizens and people around the nation to enjoy the event. Therefore, particular emphasis should be placed on the ceremony.

The committee secretary and attendees discussed event planning, functions of Free Fall squad carrying region/state flags and the sports festival flag, stage design, opening and closing event plans, performance, technological preparations, access to electricity, firework decoration and live streaming plans.
