Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn received Ms Ma Jia, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

They cordially discussed matters pertaining to further cooperation in the Myanmar-China media sector, strengthening reciprocal visits of media units of the two countries, beneficial collaboration between people in addition to the two governments, and media role.

Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, the permanent secretary and departmental officials.
