According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U Kyaw Zeyar Lin, Consul-General of Myanmar in Chongqing, met Mr Zhou Qihong, Deputy Director-General of the Hubei Provincial Education Department, to discuss strengthening educational collaboration between universities in Myanmar and Hubei Province. They focused on enhancing initiatives for academic partnerships and facilitating the placement of Myanmar scholars at universities in Wuhan.

U Kyaw Zeyar Lin also held discussions with Ms Zhang Xiaomei, Director-General of the Hubei Provincial Foreign Affairs Department. Their meeting centred on opportunities for cooperation in economic development, trade, investment, cultural exchange, and tourism.
