VICE-CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Depu­ty Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win received Am­bassador of Russian Federation to Myanmar Dr Nikolay Listo­padov, who has completed his tour of duty, at the Credentials Hall of the SAC Chairman Of­fice in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

At the talks, the Vice-Sen­ior General expressed his pleasure for the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to My­anmar receiving Wunna Kyaw Htin honorary title conferred by the SAC Chairman on 26 June for his outstanding per­formances in bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries during the period when he has served for seven years at the capacity of Russian Ambassador to Myanmar from 2016 to date.

The Vice-Senior General and the Russian Ambassador frankly exchanged views on promotion of friendly ties and cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, further enhance­ment of cooperation between the two governments and the two armed forces in addition to existing cooperation, boost­ing cooperation in existing multi-sectors, and sharing a helping hand to each other in the international arena as Myanmar and Russia are the most fraternal friends, and exchanged gifts before posing for documentary photos with delegates.
