PYITHU HLUTTAW Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein received Director of Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD) Mrs Lisbeth Pilegaard at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting, they discussed measures related to strengthening democratic system in Myanmar, internal peace, organizing free and fair elections, assistance in capacity building for political parties, women and youth and their more active participations in politics.

On the auspicious occasion of the New Year I extend my good wishes and greetings to all ethnic national brothers and sisters for their good health, well-being and auspiciousness.

At this time, internal peace, national reconciliation and national unity are things which are urgently needed for our country.
