During the opening ceremony, U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, delivered opening remarks. In his address, he emphasized the significance of boundary matters, noting that they constitute a crucial representation of state sovereignty. He also stressed the importance of efficient and effective boundary management to safeguard sovereignty, national integrity, security and stability, as well as to promote peaceful coexistence with neighbouring countries.
