The Union Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Singapore signed the Memorandum of Guidance as to Enforcement of Money Judgments yesterday.
The signing ceremony was held at the meeting hall of the Union Supreme Court in Nay Pyi Taw. Chief Justice U Htun Htun Oo and The Hon Sundaresh Menon, Singapore Supreme Court’s Chief Justice, signed and exchanged the memorandum.

Course No 1/2020 (Central) on Sangha Nayaka and delivering judgement on disputes involving the ecclesiastic code was concluded yesterday at the Wizaya Mingalar Dhamma Hall at Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill in Yangon.
In his conclusion address, State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Chairman Abhidhaja Maharattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Bhamo Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Kumarabhivamsa urged the trainees to work their best with enthusiastic teaching when they lecture other Sayadaws in multiplier courses in regions and states.

Certificates were conferred to the trainees who completed renewable energy courses conducted under the MoU between the Ministry of Electricity and Energy and the Embassy of Denmark in Yangon with the support of the World Wide Fund-Myanmar.
Union Minister U Win Khaing made a speech at the ceremony held at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
He said the MoU was signed on 9 February 2018 for more efficient use of renewable energy in Myanmar.

THE Myanmar-Japan Association (MJA) has called for outstanding second-year students from 8 Myanmar universities who are facing financial hardships in their pursuit of education to apply for the MJA University Scholarship Programme-2020.
The MJA Selection Committee has reviewed the preliminarily reviewed batch of applications and has selected the following 82 students eligible for the university scholarship stipend of K500,000 each for 2020 academic year:

The second Pyidaungsu Hluttaw convened its 7th day meeting of 15th regular session yesterday, and discussed the report and recommendations of the Joint Committee on Scrutinizing Second Bill on Amending 2008 Constitution.
Dr Myat Nyana Soe, the committee’s Secretary, explained the 7 bills presented by Hluttaw representatives.
The amendments in each bill were edited to meet legal terms without changing the meanings by the officials led by the Deputy Attorney-General from the Union Attorney-General Office.

Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe attended the dinner, and delivered a congratulatory speech urging the nursing graduates to continue further learning for advanced levels.
A total of 306 newly graduated nurses from Yangon and Mandalay will be employed soon at relevant hospitals for public healthcare services.
