BHAMO Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa, Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee, 94 years old, vasa 74, peacefully passed away at Bhamo Monastery in Mahaaungmye Township in Mandalay at 11:11 pm on 25 May.

The MCL-5 vessel loaded with 209 tonnes of timber, 106,290 corrugated iron sheets, 19,730 bags of rice, 372 makeshift tents, 68 rolls of tarpaulin sheets, 11.7 tonnes of nails, 21 tonnes of rivets, 61 cartons of instant noodles, three cranes, 20 cable rolls, and 1,560 related materials left the TMT jetty for Sittway yesterday evening.
