A relief flight of Myanmar Airways International (MAI) organized by the Myanmar Embassy in Kuala Lumpur landed at the Yangon International Airport bringing back a total of 175 Myanmar nationals including 40 Myanmar seamen and 40 Myanmar prisoners released from detention centre after they were stranded in Malaysia due to the suspension of international flights yesterday afternoon.

A total of 492 Myanmar seamen who were stranded in foreign countries because of suspension of commercial flights – 242 from Berlin, 100 from Hanoi and 150 from Singapore – came back home by relief flight yesterday.
