A relief flight of Air Asia landed at Yangon International Airport yesterday, wtih 88 Myanmar nationals who wanted to return home as they were facing difficulties in Malaysia. The flight was organized by the Myanmar Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and the respective companies.

A total of 146 Myanmar migrant workers (84 males and 62 females) returned home through the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge No 2 in Myawady Border town yesterday. Local authorities welcomed the returnees and the responsible persons from respective townships arranged the necessary medical check-up and send them to quarantine centres in respective regions and states in accordance with the COVID-19 health guideline.

A relief flight of Myanmar Airways International landed at Yangon International Airport yesterday with 165 nationals who wanted to return home as they were facing difficulties in Malaysia. The returnees have to stay the 14-day quarantine at specific places or designated hotels after immigration processes and medical tests, followed by the 7-day home quarantine, which were arranged by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Yangon Region government.
