A special appeal tribunal consisting of Chief Justice of the Union U Htun Htun Oo and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union U Khin Maung Gyi, U Tin Hone, U Thein Ko Ko and Daw Thin Thin Nwet, was convened yesterday morning at the Supreme Court and passed the judgement on three criminal special appeal cases, No 83/2022 (Mon), 9/2022 (Bago) and 10/2022 (Bago).

In addition, a total of nine civil special appeal cases – No 48/2020 (Sagaing), 49/2020 (Sagaing), 9/2022 (Mandalay), 10/2022 (Mandalay), 11/2022 (Mandalay), 12/2022 (Mandalay), 13/2022 (Mandalay), 14/2022 (Mandalay) and 15/2022 (Mandalay) – were heard in accordance with the COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines.
