UNION Minister for Commerce Dr Pwint San met the delegation led by Head of the Secretariat of the Heavy Enterprise Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mr Andrey Diansky for boosting economic cooperation between Myanmar and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) at the Ministry meeting room yesterday.

During the meeting, they openly discussed exporting Myanmar agricultural products, fishery products, minerals and value-added products, enabling the use of regional currencies to make payments in bilateral trade, importing of oil, agricul tural machinery, fertilizers and electrical products. They further held talks on increasing bilateral trade, more cooperation between Myanmar and Russian entrepreneurs and sending of business delegations to boost trade between the two countries.

The MoC deputy minister, the permanent secretary, directors-general and officials were also present on the occasion.
