CHAIRMAN of the COVID-19 Control Working Committee on Commodity Trade Deputy Minister for Commerce U Nyunt Aung attended the Zoom Meeting of the Republic of the Union Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) on export/ import and financial matters for pharmaceutical importers.

The Deputy Minister addressed the meeting, and Joint Secretary of the Central Committee on Ensuring the Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods BrigGen Yan Naung Soe, Central Committee’s Secretary and Chairman of the Task Force (Yangon) to facilitate the import of COVID-19 medicines and medical supplies U Moe Myint, Chairman and officials of the Myanmar Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Entrepreneurs Association discussed the export/import and financial issues and difficulties encountered in doing business with banks.

Upon the discussions, the Deputy Minister coordinated with relevant departments.
