A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force conducted a patrol at 4 pm on 6 March in Myitkyina and 4,500 stimulant pills were seized during a search of Ma Jamila in Shweaik Ward.
At 2 am that morning, a combined team consisting of members of the Taninthayi Region Police Force arrived in Kawthoung. Police raided Kaung Set Han’s house in Shwepyithar ward and seized 132,600 tablets of ecstasy. According to the report, a total of 9,955 tablets of ecstasy were confiscated during a search of Nitoe’s home in Ayeyeiknyein.
Similarly, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force made an inspection in Konphauk Village, Myeik (South) Village-tract, Myeik Township at 6 pm on 5 March.
A search of Ye Khaing (alias) Htee Seng in the village turned up 6,000 ecstasy pills.
At 3:30 pm that day, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force conducted a patrol in I Ward, North Okkalapa Township.
Tin Ko Win (alias) Rashin, who was unloading undocumented items with a Toyota Probox at the bus stop inside Thiriyadana Wholesale Market and his wife Ma Thuza Lwin (alias) Ma Soe (alias) Shavan Mi and daughter Tin Moe Khaing (alias) Sait Thar Ba Nue were found suspicious and 0.396 kilogramme of heroin were seized from them.
According to the investigation, Nay Kyaw Thura (alias) Nur Mohammed was arrested at his home at No. (477 / B), No. (1) Anawmar Ward, Thakayta Township.
At 11:50 pm on 5 March, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force conducted an inspection near Nayminyaung Tollgate on the Loilem-Taunggyi Road, Loilem Township.
An X-Trail vehicle driven by Ma Nang Khoung was stopped and searched near the tollgate and 400,000 tablets of ecstasy were confiscated.
They are being prosecuted under the Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, according to the Police Force.
