THE terrorists under the name of PDF committed shooting and arson attacks on four houses in Taze Township of the Sagaing Region. It reported that innocent five males and five females died.

On 17 December, the armed terrorist groups (still investigating) entered Thakayta Village of Taze Township ofSagaing Region and shot the villagers and also committedarson attacks. The attacks destroyed one two-storey house built of brick, one Forland truck 7N/8644, one gold chain,K500,000 and about 300 baskets of paddy owned by U KyawShwin, another one two-storey house built of corrugated iron sheet/bamboo matting of Ko Moe Min and one two-story house built of corrugated iron/sheet/bamboo matting of Daw Khin Htay.

Daw Khin Htay and her fivefamily members-daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren(one of them is a novice), Ko Moe Win and his family members-mother, wife and son diedwith gunshot wounds and bruises, but Ko Moe Min and U Kyaw Shwin escaped from the attack.

The terrorists brutally killed the innocent villagers in-cluding school-age children and novice and committed arson attacks to frighten the people. Therefore, the security forces cooperate with the regional military commands to arrest these insurgents.
