TWO male terrorists were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) was planted in Taze Township in Sagaing Region.

 

The incident took place at 8:30 am on 17 December in Taze Township, Sagaing Region.

 

According to the report, an explosion took place near the sign at the entrance of Taze Township on the exit of Kabo Village, Taze-Kabo Road.

 

A 23-year-old man (under investigation) was found to have blisters on his face at the scene. A 21-year-old man (under investigation) suffered a fractured right elbow. He was found dead with a puncture wound under his left ear.

 

Both were severely injured and died when an improvised explosive device (IED) was planted in the area.

 

Two deaths have been registered in connexion with the incident, and security forces are clearing mines in the area.
