UNION  Minister  for  Information  U  Maung  Maung  Ohn  and  Union  Minister  for  Investment  and Foreign Economic Relations U  Aung  Naing  Oo  viewed  the  recording  of  music  festival  at  MRTV in Yangon and comforted the performers on 29 October.

First,  the  Union  Ministers  cordially greeted the performers and singers who will entertain in “Myu Kyawa Hla Pa–Yaung Sone Nya” programme, including the comedian group and Ko Lu Chaw team and young artistes.

They also enjoyed the Live show of MRTV band and appre-ciated the efforts of singers after the show.

The  MoI  Union  Minister  visited the three-storey building of  the  Printing  and  Publishing  Department on Bo Aung Kyaw street  and  central  press  on  Theinbyu  Road  to  inspect  the  literary  development  plan  and  conditions  to  open  Sarso  Beik-man.

During the visit to the three-storey building of Printing and Publishing Department on Bo Aung Kyaw street, he checked the structure, strength and up-grade work of building and plans to open Sarso Beikman. He also inspected the structure of central press on Theinbyu Road and future work plans of the factory.

Then,  the  Union  Minister  met  the  members  of  Myanmar  Affairs  Research  Team  at  the  meeting  hall  of  the  Printing  and Publishing Department on Theinbyu  Road  and  discussed  the  systematic  researches  and  publishing of books on Myanmar affairs, global affairs and ethnic affairs.

He  also  said  the  ministry  plays a key role as it is responsible for media and it should keep eye on the developing political, economy,  social  and  technology  sectors  of  local  and  foreign  countries. Therefore, it needs to discuss the impacts of changing conditions  of  the  local  and  foreign countries.

The Prime Minister has also instructed  the  responsible  offi-cials to carry out the Research and Development activities systematically  in  order  to  develop  the  researches.  It  should  not  choose the old methods but the innovative ways in line with the trend. In conducting researches, it should uncover the history and compare with the current conditions. It also needs to present the information  to  achieve  positive  views between the government and public.

In  presenting  the  information,  it  should  cover  the  news  that  brings  prosperity  for  the  country  and  people.  Priority  should  be  given  to  eradicating  false information. He also called on to make necessary things to be more successful and carry out effective services for the public.

Then, Myanmar Affairs Research Team reported on the on-going work plans and the Union Minister concluded the meeting.
