THREE armed bank robbers ran away with about K100 million kyats from the KBZ bank (Branch 106) in Kyaukme Township, northern Shan State, yesterday afternoon.

Bank employees were forced to hand over the money when one of three armed robbers came into the bank and threatened with a gun. The robber, along with his two other partners waiting in a car, escaped with the money, and security forces are conducting a detailed investigation to arrest them under the law.
