THE Myitkyina International Education Forum (2026), featuring academics from various universities across ASEAN, China, India, Japan, and South Korea, will be held in November at Myitkyina University in Kachin State, according to the Kachin State Government.

The forum will be the grandest and most prestigious state-level international education conference in the history of Myitkyina. As a new educational milestone that will elevate the prestige of Kachin State on the global stage, the forum will not only enhance the state’s educational quality but also harmoniously connect global perspectives with regional potential, thereby accelerating state development and peace.

The forum will be organized with the strategic objective: “From Regional Development to National Peace and Socioeconomic Progress”. The event will feature paper presentations, special lecture sessions by experts, peace and education workshops, as well as exhibitions showcasing local products and research-based innovations.
