A special appeal tribunal consisting of U Tha Htay, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Union and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union: U Thein Ko Ko, Daw Thin Thin Nwet, Daw Pyone Pyone Aye and Daw Thin Thin Cho was convened yesterday morning at the Supreme Court of the Union in Nay Pyi Taw and passed judgements for 5 special civil appeal cases – Nos: 37/2025 (Mandalay), 56/2025 (Ayeyawady), 6/2026 (Yangon), 7/2026 (Kachin), and 15/2026 (Kayin).

In addition, a total of two special criminal appeal cases – Nos: 2/2026 (Mandalay), 5/20262 (Shan) and three special civil appeal cases – 12/2026 (Yangon), 1/2026 (Sagaing) and 11/2026 (Sagaing) were heard. —MNA
