VARIOUS organizations, associations and committees have issued statements expressing their pride and offering congratulations on the election of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing as President.

At the presidential election held on 3 April 2026, the Presidential Electoral College, comprising all representatives of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, elected Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who had previously been nominated as Vice-President by the representatives of the Pyithu Hluttaw, as President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Following the election, congratulatory statements were issued by the Zina Manaung Pagoda Gilding and Comprehensive Construction Committee in Thakayta Township, the Micro, Small, Medium-scale Entrepreneurs Association (Nay Pyi Taw), the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and representatives of the Yangon Region Hluttaw, and the Yangon Region Sports and Youth Affairs Supporting Committee.

In their statements, these organizations expressed their heartfelt pride and extended their congratulations on his election as President by the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw. They also conveyed their best wishes for his good health and peace of mind, and for strength and dedication in carrying out his responsibilities to serve the interests of the State, the people and religion.

They further expressed their hope that, under his leadership, Myanmar’s economic sector particularly MSME businesses will achieve greater development and progress. They also wished him continued good health, safety, and protection from all adversities.
