The Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday during the official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mr Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

At the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing Myanmar-Pakistan relations, expanding multi-sectoral cooperation, and promoting collaboration in mutually beneficial areas such as economy, trade, agriculture and livestock, energy, tourism, and culture. They also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the two countries at regional and international levels, including within ASEAN.
