A relief flight by Myanmar National Airlines (MNA), from the Republic of Korea, bringing back 148 Myanmar nationals (93 seamen and 55 Myanmar migrant workers) landed at the Yangon International Airport at 8 pm yesterday.

The relief flight was jointly arranged by Myanmar Embassy in Seoul and JSM International Company.

As they arrived in the airport, the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Yangon Region government arranged proper medical checkups and 7-day government facility quarantine plus 7-day home quarantine for them.

To bring back Myanmar nationals including seamen stranded in foreign nations by relief flights and charter flights in accordance with the instructions from National-Level Central Committee for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs cooperated with the relevant ministries and Myanmar embassies from respective nations.
