IN Myanmar, the powerful earthquake that struck on 28 March severely affected six regions and states, with the death toll reaching 3,771 to date, alongside 5,104 injured and 37 still missing.

The Myanmar Fire Brigade continues to carry out clearing and rehabilitation efforts, and has so far rescued 653 people alive from collapsed buildings, while also recovering 849 deceased.

Updates will continue to be provided regarding the financial and material donations from both local and foreign philanthropists to support the impacted communities.
