HUMANITARIAN aid and donations from local and international well-wishers continue to support people affected by the powerful earthquake in Mandalay Region.

Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung received Mr Imran Haider, Ambassador of Pakistan to Myanmar and delegation members at the regional government guest hall yesterday. During the meeting, they discussed the current situation following the disaster, ongoing rehabilitation efforts and the purpose of Pakistan’s humanitarian support.

Following the meeting, Ambassador Mr Imran Haider and his team donated 10,000 kilogrammes of rice and 10,000 packets of instant noodles for the earthquake-affected communities in Mandalay Region. The Chief Minister and officials formally accepted the items and expressed appreciation.
