THE Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO) has announced that members of the film industry and donors are providing financial support to the organization to supply school uniforms and stationery for the children of film industry workers. This information was shared by U Aye Kyu Lay, Vice-Chair of the organization.
To receive this support, film industry workers who are members of the organization and have school-age children are encouraged to apply by 9 June. Applicants should submit a copy of their membership card, a copy of the household registration, and original supporting documents from the relevant basic education schools.
The MMPO aims to ensure that all eligible children of film industry workers receive school uniforms and stationery. All members of the organization are welcome to apply.
“This June, as in previous years, we are making arrangements to support film industry workers with school-age children. Together with donors and supporters, we plan to provide complete sets of school uniforms, blank notebooks, pencils, pens, and other essential items. At present, film industry workers and major film companies are also making contributions,” said U Aye Kyu Lay.
Currently, donations have been received from several individuals and companies. Academy Award-winning actor Khant Si Thu donated K5 lakh, actress Saung Yoon San K5 lakh, Aung Thiri Film Production K5 lakh, and Sein Htay Film Production 106 drinking water bottles.
