Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin received Mr Sholban Kara-Ool, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and his delegation in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

Both sides exchanged views on the enhancement of cooperation in the religious and cultural sectors, plans to sign an MoU on the construction of the Russian Orthodox Church, Myanmar-Russia flights, the exchange of traditional culture and conservation.
