ACCORDING to Vice-Chairman U Aye Kyu Lay of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO), actress Khaing Hnin Wai donated K1 million on 6 October to support the 104th Myanmar Motion Pictures Day and the 47th Respect-Paying Ceremony, which will take place on 13 October.

The event will be held at the MMPO (Central) office in Bahan Township, Yangon Region, and donations from well-wishers and artistes are currently being accepted.

“The ceremony is approaching soon. Khaing Hnin Wai has generously contributed K1 million to it. We are currently finalizing the list of senior individuals to be honoured at the event, as some have passed away, while others need to be added to the list,” said U Aye Kyu Lay.
