The organizing committee for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni, released the list of eligible candidates for the Japanese university entrance course.

MAJA Education Centre has also nominated winners of 100 per cent and 50 per cent scholarships for a year course (in-person class), based on its criteria- education level, need for financial support and enthusiasm.

The scholarship will be provided with sponsorship by Sumitomo Corporation Asia and Oceania, Tanaka Sakuji and MAJA.

One hundred per cent scholarship winners are Khaing Shwe Sin Win, David Van Bawi Ceu, Hein Htet Zaw, Htun Pa Pa Han, Hnin Nwe Aye, Aye Aye Sanny, Nyi Nyi Min Htet, Shune Lai Hanny and Thazin Thiri Myint.

Fifty per cent scholarship winners are Mya Hmu Khin, May Myat Noe Htun, Htoo Wai Yan Hlaing, Htet Wai Yan, Ei Thu Han, Nyi Zaw Naing and Htet Htet Win. Those who were not selected for the scholarship are allowed to attend the course with their own funding, it said.

Enrollment needs to be done by 14 June, it said.
