MYANMAR Hluttaw representatives organized the second preparatory meeting yesterday to participate in the 41st ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) General Assembly scheduled from 8 to 10 September 2020 via videoconferencing.

At the meeting, Myanmar delegation leader and Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein discussed one draft proposal for Political Committee, 15 draft proposals for AIPA Administrative Committee and other topics for the remaining committees from the AIPA Secretariat.

He also urged the respective committees to make suggestions for the Myanmar delegation to comment on these draft proposals.

The AIPA National Secretariat Deputy Director-General U Bhone Kyi Aung briefed cooperation works together with the relevant ministries and organizations for accessing information regarding these draft proposals.
