PRE-EVENT dinner marking the 6th Japan-Myanmar Festival 2020 was held at Park Royal Hotel in Yangon at 7 pm yesterday.
Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Phyo Min Thein, Deputy Minister for Information and Ambassador of Japan to Myanmar Mr. Ichiro Maruyama extended greetings at the dinner.

Then the video clip of message sent by State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to the festival was screened.
Also presented were the speaker and the deputy speaker of Yangon Region Hluttaw, cabinet members of Yangon Region government, officials of Myanmar-Japan Traders Associations and specially invited guests.

The goal of the festival is to further strengthen friendly relations between Myanmar and Japan through mutual cooperation. The first Japan-Myanmar Festival was held in December 2014. This year’s festival will be hled on a grand scale at theThuwanna Bommi Event Park in Yangon on 9 this month.
