Union Minister for Labour U Aung Kyaw Hoe received Myanmar-Lao Friendship Association Chairman U Win Maung and his team at the meeting hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

The Union minister discussed the MoU on cooperation in labour matters between Myanmar and Laos, the establishment of a working group to implement the process of issuing Certificate of Identity (C of I) to undocumented Myanmar citizens living and working in Laos, and the verification of the procedures for sending workers to Laos following the procedures, rules, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The meeting was attended by the permanent secretary and officials, the chairperson and responsible officials from the Myanmar-Laos Friendship Association.
