Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win received Egyptian Ambassador to Myanmar Mrs Aya Saad Mohamed Abdelkarim at the Ministry yesterday morning.

They discussed signing an MoU on cooperation in the health sector between the two countries, providing scholarships for the development of health human resources, exchanging experiences and training medical professionals, collaborating in medical fields such as liver and heart surgery and transplantation, importing and selling vaccines, medications, and medical equipment manufactured in Egypt, investing in Myanmar, and cooperating in the treatment of hepatitis B.
