The confirmed cases of COVID-19, assumed to be local transmission, were reported in Rakhine State in the second week of August 2020, and some secondary case-patients who were infected from the primary case-patients have reached other regions and states. Therefore, to prevent the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), those who come to Nay Pyi Taw from other areas, or those who returned to Nay Pyi Taw from other areas are being systematically investigated.
