THE Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister for the Ministry 2 of the President’s Office U Ko Ko Hlaing and Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney-General Dr Thida Oo, is striving for the truth against the accusations made by The Gambia showing the responsibility and dignity of the country at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, the Netherlands from 12 to 29 January 2026.
The Young Men’s Buddhist Association fully supports the firm and decisive response to the unjust accusations against our country based on the faith in law. Such action shows the actual case of Myanmar and is also an important factor in helping the international community understand and believe in the efforts that create misunderstanding and unjust accusations against Myanmar.
Therefore, the Young Men’s Buddhist Association expresses its support and honours the Myanmar delegation that is striving for Myanmar’s dignity, sovereignty and national interests at ICJ, and the Association hereby issues this statement to affirm its full solidarity with the policies of the country.
