On this auspicious occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, I wish to extend our warm congratulations, and our best wishes for the greater success of the Organization in its discharge of the mandate entrusted to it by the UN Charter. The maintenance of the international peace and security and the promotion of the economic and social advancement of all peoples through international cooperation are particular needs for our times.

I wish to extend good wishes and metta for the good health and happiness of the Union Ministers, Chief Minister of the Shan State government, Speaker of the Shan State Hluttaw, ministers of the Shan State government, members of the Shan State Hluttaw, departmental officials, ethnic nationals, and senior executives from the company who have come to attend today’s ceremony to commission the Namhsan-Mongpyin-Kengtung electric power grid, the Kengtung main electrical substation, the Mongpyin main electrical substation, and the transmission of electricity from the National Grid into Shan State (East).

DEAR esteemed Chin ethnic brothers and sisters,

On this auspicious 72nd Anniversary of Chin National Day which is regarded by Chin ethnic nationals as a day of high significance, I send this message of greetings and good wishes to all Chin ethnic nationals residing in Chin State and all over Myanmar as well as those living in foreign countries to be blessed with good fortune and auspiciousness.

Today is the time when all the national brethren have been striving with a strong union spirit to obtain eternal peace

Today is the time when all the national brethren have been striving with a strong union spirit to obtain eternal peace and to achieve mutual understanding and trust without doubts and conflicts while taking the lessons in the past. The Union Peace Conference – 21st Century Panglong has been successfully held three times in order to obtain peace and national reconciliation and some agreements for building a democratic federal union have been reached. We have been undergoing the peace process in order to build a federal union all the national races have been craving for.

All ethnic races are urged to cooperate in the 21st Century Panglong political dialogues with understanding, patience and coordination to find solutions: President U Win Myint

Myanmar is a country standing in the world with great dignity and its own sovereignty since time immemorial. when colonialism was fully functioned the 19th century, Myanmar became a colony and lost its independence and its sovereignty.
