A coordination meeting to amend the Printing and Publishing Law (draft) was held at the meeting room of the Ministry of Legal Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw at 10 am yesterday.

Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney-General Dr Thida Oo, Deputy Minister Deputy Attorney-General U San Lwin, the directors-general and officials attended the meeting. They discussed whether the amendment to the Printing and Publishing Law (draft) should be enacted at present. As it is necessary to supplement necessary points in the Printing and Publishing Law promulgated in 2014, the meeting decided to enact the amending law currently and finalize the provisions that are required for amendment.
